Important Update & The Future of DREAM

Important Update & The Future of DREAM

Dear DREAMERS,

First and foremost, I would like to express our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty to our brand. Without you, DREAM Clothing wouldn't be where it is today. As we continue on this incredible journey together, I want to address a few important points and share some updates with you.

The Free Gifts

At DREAM Clothing, we take pride in offering you an exceptional experience. One way we show our appreciation is through our free gift program. We only charge for shipping because it helps cover the cost of meticulously packaging each order, acquiring shipping labels, and ensuring the value of the gift exceeds what you're paying. We intend to provide something unique and memorable without unnecessary expenses. In the future, we will reserve the free gifts for our top supporters and try our best to make shipping costs as low as we can.

Trust me, if we could ship for free, we would, but it was impossible. In the future, I am going to find a way to see if we can send things out in envelopes like free stickers instead. That way, no one has to pay for anything other than us for a small fee of envelopes and stamps.

Overcoming Challenges and Dealing with Negativity

In any company, challenges are inevitable. Unfortunately, we have encountered some negative comments and threats from a small fraction of individuals. While this represents only about 5% of our customer base, it has affected our team's mental health, including mine. It's disheartening to face such hostility, but we want you to know that your support and kind words have been a beacon of light during these trying times.

Some of the things I've been told are, "You are a scum piece of shit, and I hope you go out of business," "Scammers, hope you die," "Why don't you go kill yourself already and stop being so afraid," "fat Muslim looking asshole," "you are exploiting mental health for you to make money, fuck you." Although I don't believe any of that about me is true, it still hurts to read. I was going to share the screenshots, but for the privacy sake of the people who said it and of me and my team, I decided not to...yet. If we were making money hand over fist like people think, then none of us would be feeling the way we are.

However, I have never cared about being on a Forbes list or anything like that. I am about the impact I leave on this earth once I'm gone. No matter how hard I try, I will eventually negatively impact some people, and I am sorry if you fell victim to that. In about a month or so there will be so many changes here that you will see DREAM running smoother than ever.

Embracing the Future

We firmly believe there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. We are actively working on resolving the issues we've faced, and we are thrilled to share that by July, you will witness a transformed DREAM Clothing. Our primary focus is enhancing your shopping experience by offering guaranteed 3-4 day shipping and a broader range of products, ensuring your dreams become a reality.

If you have supported us in the past and want to help us out by leaving your reviews everywhere you can, it would help us a lot. We know in 2023, reviews are only left when incentivized or when someone is upset about an experience. As of now, we hope you can take some time out to do so for us. I will have more updates about the future soon...however.

The Weight of the Journey

It is with great vulnerability that I share the impact this journey has had on me personally. The stress and pressure I've experienced over the past two years have affected my overall well-being. Despite this, my dedication to helping others and fostering confidence in the DREAM Clothing brand remains unwavering. Nevertheless, I find myself contemplating the path ahead and how I can navigate the road to recovery. Your support and understanding during this time are invaluable.

Don't be worried about me. DREAM is not about Sammy; it's about all of you and my entire team that helps move this every day. I need to be in a better place mentally to make everything go right. As mentioned, I will explore options and determine what I can do. I have to battle intrusive thoughts daily for the sake of my family...I need to figure out what the best course of action is.

We can build a future where DREAM Clothing meets and exceeds your expectations. Thank you for standing by us and being an essential part of our journey. No matter what I decide to do in the future, DREAM will always live on and continue to give back and help give a voice to those who feel voiceless.

Never Stop Dreaming,

Sammy Dreamin'

Thank you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable….. I wish the best for you. Does this mean that I will not receive the wonderful sweatshirts that I ordered until July?

    Hey guys,

It hurt me to read the comments other people wrote about you. If you have taken the time to read this, please briefly let me share my story. I separated and eventually divorced from my ex wife in 2021. We owned a home together, which she moved out of. I had spent 12 years with this person building my image and style, personality, etc. When she left, it all went belly up. I became very suicidal, and the worst day was a hair’s breath away from pulling the trigger. No joke. As I became aware of some other purpose in my life, I reluctantly set the gun down and never picked it up again. Once I took care of selling the house, and all of the other affairs, I was able to move to my own apartment and begin life 2.0. As I saw this as a new opportunity to style myself and my personality, I began expressing myself through clothes and other things much truer to who I was. This was when I first saw an ad for your store. The one that caught my eye was a dark teal tie dye shirt, that on the back reads “dreams rule everything around me.” That is one of the most relatable things I had ever read, so of course I bought it. I wear it often and get compliments all the time.

I purchase from you guys as much as I can, and it was such a pleasant surprise when I discovered how involved with suicide prevention and mental health awareness you are. I had no idea when I discovered your brand that you supported those things! It was a very welcome surprise. I’m so glad I get to support that as well by supporting you.

I have never felt taken advantage of by your company, in fact the very opposite. The amount of free things and discounted items I have gotten from you is crazy. I’ll be supporting you for as long as you stay in business (hopefully for a very long time!) Don’t listen to the 5%, don’t even give it mental energy. Ignore it and move on, because the people you continually help are out here waiting for your next cool drop.

    Much Love!

You guys rock!! There’s always going to be haters, especially the keyboard warrior variety… they say things they’d never have the balls to say to your face. Keep kicking ass and bringing us beautiful clothing with an impact!! We <3 you guys!! Thank you!!

As a new peruser of your wares, I hadn’t the slightest idea people were upset with your business model. In fact, I was so excited the hoodie I wanted was in my size…AND IN STOCK? Yeah I’m 100% ordering one! I looked at the reviews on fb, yeah okay it takes a month to get to me…same with a few other companies I’ve bought from. Is what it is, I shop boutique and unique not because I expect it over night, or to offer some message to the world that I feel better about myself – I shop this way to help small businesses, my fellow Americans! In this world, that’s really all you can do to show support, shop small, shop local.
Excited for my first order, and with this message I’ve just read, my first of many. Thanks for being here.
